almost there

wow- it's been nearly 5 months since i've written here.

time kind of flew by really quickly. i count the weeks till i go home but i expect them to fly by like days. at first time was at a standstill. the first week i was here, time dragged on. one day felt like one week and one week felt like one month.

i read the post that i wrote one week before i came to korea and i think of all the experiences and memories that i have made thus far and i realize that i definitely have grown in some ways. i don't think i'll ever regret the decision to come to korea because of that fact.
now it's almost time to leave korea. just 4 weeks left.

it's funny. at first i could feel the huge culture difference and i told myself that i don't think i could ever get used to living in korea. but now, it's familiar like i've lived here all my life-- or at least a large part of it. sometimes i imagine and wonder what life would have been like if i were born here instead of america. i would've been so different.

it's almost time to go home..
back to my life and back to my roles.
now it's time to work hard and live life with fervor and diligence.

time to sleep. have to go teach my kids tomorrow :)
